Driver Training

Driver training is required for all minors, under 18 years of age. Minor students are required to take a total of six hours of driving instruction with a licensed Driving Instructor. Minor students may not drive until their permit is validated, after their first two hour lesson. Once the student’s permit has been validated, they may begin driving with an adult, over the age of 25, who holds a valid California driver’s license. The student must practice with an adult for a total of 50 hours before taking the behind the wheel driving test at DMV.
