Lauren Halliburton

Owner/Instructor

Lauren was born and raised in the Yuba-Sutter area. She attended Yuba City High School and Yuba College before transferring to a four year university and completing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She later continued her education at Fresno State, where she obtained her teaching credential. Lauren initially obtained her instructor permit in 2010 and has been instructing students, of all abilities, for over 11 years.

Emily Ormosen

Instructor

Emily was born and raised in the Yuba Sutter area. Emily graduated from Wheatland High School in 2016 and is currently attending Yuba College while working towards a degree in Arts and Humanities. Emily obtained her instructor license and joined the Premier Family in 2019. She enjoys working with students and helping them learn the important skills they need to know to become safe and cautious drivers. Outside of work Emily enjoys swimming, horseback riding, line dancing and spending time with friends.

Laura Underwood

Instructor

Laura has lived in the Yuba Sutter area for over a decade. She graduated from Chico State with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, later earning a Master’s degree in Counseling. Laura’s professional career includes years of experience working with adolescents. She enjoys all aspects of teaching and witnessing students learn not only driving skills, but overall life skills they can carry into adulthood.

Scott Halliburton

Founder/Owner/Operator/Instructor

Scott Halliburton was born in Virginia, but moved to Tracy early in his childhood. He attended school in Tracy and after graduating from high school he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. After retiring from the Coast Guard, Scott and his wife Lauren founded Premier Driving School in 2011. He was one of the most skilled instructors a student could hope to drive with. Scott is profoundly missed by his family, employees, students and other community business associates.
